Take Five!

Stress building up? Too much to do? Feeling “s t r e t c h e d”?

Time to “Take Five” – a very successfully applied remedy from my Kundalini Yoga teachings.

Here is what you do – wherever you are:

  • Inhale deep breath counting to five on your fingers slowly folding over each finger with each count.
  • Now hold your breath counting to five slowly unfolding each finger with each count.
  • Breathe out counting to five by folding each finger with each count again.
  • Hold your breath while slowly unfolding each finger with each count to five.

And do this set – you guessed right – 5 times. You will feel calm and re-energized. If you can, add  few more minutes drinking a cup of tea or coffee mindfully, enjoying each sip, the warmth, the comfort. Be grateful.
